I 'd rather let all my works of art do all the talking.
Having
done a National Diploma in Fine Arts and a Certificate Course in Commercial
Art in 1993,
initially I worked as an artist for 2 years at Belart; a Belgium based
company.
I later switched to an ad agency, where the real challenges in the world
of art, lay. My abilities as a visualiser, illustrator and sculptor were
improved by leaps and bounds.
I honed my skills in areas such as story-board making and designing layouts.
I've also received a solid grounding in the nuances of commercial art.
The advent of the internet and multimedia, opened a whole new world of
opportunities for me, to develop and utilize my talent. I quit Akshar
to join indiainfo.com to progress further as a web designer.
From a year's stint as a cartoonist for a Malayalam Christian monthly
magazine to a short stint in the tinsel world as an associate art director,
I have covered as much as I could in the world of art. I 've also held
a couple of exhibitions where my posters and paintings have been displayed.
On the lighter front, I love Hindustani Music and I play the tabla as
well. If I could sum up my life, then I would say that I wish to live
my life to the fullest; as an artist and as a good human being.
