Joanne was born in La Jolla, Calif. at Scripps Hospital. Went to school at La Jolla Elementary and La Jolla Jr. Sr. High until 1953 when she and her mother and grandmother moved to Brooklyn, New York. Graduated High School in Brooklyn and in June of 1954 moved to Great Neck, New York. Met Clarence in Great Neck, Married in 1955 and lived in Great Neck until 1972. |  Taken on beach at Pt. In 1972 Joanne, Clarence, the girls and Ruth Virginia Gallagher and her mother Hazel Vance all moved to Setauket. In 1976 Hazel Vance passed away and Ruth Virginia Gallagher returned to La Jolla, Calif. In 1992 Joanne and Clarence sold the house in Setauket and moved to Anderson, SC and built a new house.
