Hobbies
Many hobbies have come and gone throughout my life. I used to play a lot of sports, but two knee surgeries have made that more difficult. I owned a motorcycle for about 4 months before moving to Texas and selling it. I have a paintball gun, but its only seen real use once. I used to race radio-controlled cars, but fell out of that one too. Oh, and I bought a bass guitar that I played for about 2 months. While I have seen many of those temporary hobbies slip away, there are a few interests that I have which I think will be with me for a long while.
My first hobby was probably playing video games. I know many people think that video games are a waste of time, but they are just too enjoyable for me to give up entirely. Its amazing to see how games have gone from the old Atari to the online, multiplayer, first-person shooters of today. My favorite game of all time has to be Twisted Metal II. Its about 10 years old now and I can still play it every day.

Another thing that has held my interest throughout the years is automobiles. Driving for my brother and I is not just a way to get from point A to point B, but it is more of a time to connect with the car and enjoy the road. While Ive let my knowledge of new cars slip in the past couple of years, I still have a pretty good idea of whats out there and who can smoke who. My current ride is a Mazda 6s. Its replacing our dear friend the Amigo who passed last summer.

The Six
My most recent interest and the focus of most daydreams is fishing. A friend introduced me to fishing when he came to visit my new place in Fort Walton Beach, FL and Ive been hooked ever since (fishing is one of easiest topics to have pun with, Ill spare any more annoying ones though). I'm still pretty new at fishing compared to come of the old hats around here, but I'm learning fast and cathing more fish as time goes on. I still don't have a boat, but I have something better....a friend with a boat!
