Baw Faw Summit
Next Page
Baw Faw Peak is near Boistfort, WA and is one of the tallest points in the state. Therefore it makes a good site for radio towers at 3,111 feet.
 | Some of the operatives pose by the gate to Baw Faw in the frigid weather while the others stay warm in the vehicle. |
| View of some of the many towers at the location. | |
 | Wonderful view of 3 mountains and surrounding vicinity, including Mount Rainier. Note light snow on the ground. The temperature with wind chill was about 2 degrees F according to the NOAA weather station at the location. In another month this location will be snowed in. |
| More towers at the site with guy wires leading in all directions. This is the largest concentration of towers we have seen to date. | |
 | A closeup of one of the buildings that, like all the others, looks like it has been there since World War II and survived many harsh winters at 3,111 feet.
