Midget Forced Labor Camp

June of 2001, Nite Crawler operatives were alerted to the presence of an alleged midget forced labor camp in the community of Tenino, WA. According to our intelligence, in the 1890's midgets were forced to live and work in a camp mining coal. This ghost town still exists and all the buildings are midget sized. Since this sounded highly unlikely, we had to investigate for ourselves and get real answers.
This lumber mill is not "midget sized" and apparently is what cuts the lumber for the creation of this unique community of midgets.
This is one of a cluster of small structures. This one has a small tower on the top of it for no apparent purpose.
This barn-like structure is dated 1867. Obviously this cannot be true due to the condition of the building's exterior. It is the size of small tool shed, rather than a massive barn.
This small structure is built to resemble an old west general store. However, it is so small that it has no purpose.
Overall view of the cluster of shacks. There are more shacks outside of the view of this picture also.

OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION CONCLUSION:
FINDINGS FROM MIDGET LABOR CAMP SITE.

After 3 deployments to the site, we have concluded that not only is this site not a forced labor camp, but it has never harbored any midgets. Instead, it is the creation of one man's fantasy. The owner of this property owns and operates his own antique lumber mill. Therefore, he is compelled to build half-scale replicas of old western structures.

All rumors of a forced labor camp of midgets are false, and reflect poor intelligence gathering on the part of Operative Goodspeed, who first discovered the existence of this site. Due to this acquisition of poor grade intelligence, the Nite Crawlers foolishly deployed and expended great time and effort into the research, recon, and actual infiltration of this worthless site. An estimated 140 miles of driving time were clocked, about $28 spent on necessary purchases, approximatly 7 hours spent on the ground (2,000 minutes spent driving), and numerous more hours spent on research and planning of the infiltration.

As the site remains today, it appears that it was built several decades ago, and has since fallen into disrepair. Cows now forage the grounds. Plants are growing on the roofs, and much of the wood is rotting. Groundcover is overgrowing the site, making it invisible from a nearby city street. There is no further benefit to a continued investigation of this shantytown. We recommend the immediate cease to all present and future deployments to this area.
