A Closet For Two

Janitorial Closet

Joey looked up into the eyes of Drue Valentine, she sighed, and turned to leave, but he held her in place. "Potter, wait," he said. Joey turned back to him, she rolled her eyes, and looked down towards the ground, silently telling him that she'd listen to what ever it was that he had to say. "Look, I know that you think that last night was a mistake, but we both know it wasn't."

Joey looked at Drue like he had lost his mind, she began to speak but he stopped her, "Potter, as much as I'd like to admit that kissing you was like kissing my mother, it wasn't. I've wanted to do that for the longest time. As a matter of fact, I've wanted to do several things for the longest time," he said, gazing at her with lust-filled eyes.

"Drue, can we please talk about this another time, I've got to get to class," she said, just the feel of his eyes on her body made her want more, and she knew that she couldn't be in the same room with him without wanting to act on these impulses.

"Joey, look, I don't do this, I'm not one to declare my feelings for anyone, I don't even think I have feelings half the time, but when I'm with you, I know I do," he took a step closer to her, and Joey felt her nipples harden even though she wished they hadn't," Joey, like I said to you last night, I am attracted to you, I don't know if it's some sick twisted fetish of mine to be attracted to women who I can't stand half the time, but I'm attracted to you, and I want you to know that, do you understand?"

"Crystal clear, now, may I leave?" she asked, not wanting to continue this conversation, she didn't want to feel the way she felt towards him, and if what he was saying was true, she didn't want him to feel that way towards her either, and the only way she knew how to deal with it was to act as bitchy towards him as before, maybe even more.

Drue met her eyes, and for some reason she was dreading whatever it was that was about to come out of his mouth, "Stop the bullshit, all I want you to do is tell me how you feel about me," he said.

"You want me to tell you how I feel about you?" she asked, and Drue nodded, Joey narrowed her eyes at him, it was like he was some sort of mind reader, and he knew what she was thinking, and when she was thinking it.

Drue's eyes were showing that what he was saying was true, in his eyes she saw hope, hope that her feelings for him were just as deep as his for her;and if she didn't know any better, she'd say they were.

"Drue,...," she began, but he cut her off by pulling her into a gut wrenching kiss, she felt sparks from last nights kiss fly back and hit her full force, she felt like she was flying, like her feet weren't even touching the ground. She felt his hands on her ass pulling her closer to him, she felt his tongue massaging hers, his mouth devouring hers, and she felt her body reacting.

Thankfully the shrill sound of the late bell brought her back to reality, she pushed him away from her and grabbed her bag, that had fallen on the floor when she had been pulled into the closet, and without a further glance at him, she exited the room, leaving Drue behind, staring at where she had just stood.

Drue raised a fist and slammed it into the wall, not feeling the pain, not feeling the trickle of blood running down his knuckles, not feeling anything but anger. "Dammit, Potter. Dammit, and Damn you," he said, and picked up his book-bag, exiting the closet.

Cafeteria

Joey slowly walked through the lunch-line, she was supposed to be meeting Pacey for lunch but she had been sidetracked in the office. She moved her eyes across the room looking for Pacey, her eyes landed on a black haired guy walking into the Cafeteria, it was Drue. She hadn't seen him since this morning, he had skipped History, which they shared with one another, and she had figured he'd went home.

Joey watched as Drue's eyes landed on her, and she felt frozen to the spot, he didn't make any move towards her, and she didn't make any towards him, all the way across the room she could feel his body heat, and she could see his eyes turning a deeper, darker shad of blue. She felt like Drue and her were the only two in the room, this was a feeling that she never once felt before, not even with Pacey or Dawson, and she hated that.

"Joey, over here," a male voice called out, Joey shook her head from the trance that she was under, and noticed Pacey calling out to her, he was sitting at a table with Jack and Jen, she smiled at them, and began walking towards him, she glanced back at where Drue had been standing to find him gone, she looked down at her tray, and closed the distance between her and Pacey.

"Hey Gorgeous! What took you so long?" he asked, and Joey smiled, taking a seat beside him.

"It's a long story, one that's not that interesting," she said, putting on a fake smile. She tried to listen to what her friends were saying, but found herself only being able to hear bits and pieces, she felt eyes on the back of her head, she turned to catch Drue staring at her, she licked her bottom lip, remembering the kiss from before, she turned around, noticing three sets of eyes were on her. "What?"

"Pacey was just telling us how you got locked in the storage room with Drue, and I was just wondering how you survived that one, Jo?" Jen asked, "I would've ripped my eyes out, you wouldn't believe the mouth on that boy."

Jack and Pacey laughed, Joey knew what kind of mouth Drue had on him, she also knew that his eyes were still fixated on her as well.

So, what's everyone thinking so far? Should I stop while I'm ahead, and not do what I'm about to do? :) Send feedback
