There are two versions of the downloadable installers the batch versions and the EXE version.
The batch vesrion is there so that people who will download ESS can see how it works. It's also to keep the skeptics down by letting them see how it functions and convince them that this is not another virus script. (duh...)
The EXE version is the same as the batch version but the files are now in executable form, therefore more secure because the code is kept hidden from possible alterations from low level script kiddies.

ESS is a special project I started to counter the virus/scripts that are commonly found around the PC's of USC that cannot be detected by most Anti Viruses.
