the joey and frankie =
timon and pumbaa theory
This is just something that... came to me one day. I thought to myself, "Joey and Frankie are a lot like Timon and Pumbaa." And they are! o_o.; Let's check the similarities, no matter how small.
1. Both groups have two members, one rather large, one much smaller.
2. Both join up with a third member. (Simba or Griff, after Harley's gone.)
3. Frankie and Pumbaa are usually pretty dense, but at times, they both have sudden strokes of brilliance. (Like Frankie saying it was an epiphany, and Pumbaa knowing exactly what stars are.)
4. The way Joey and Timon talk even sounds sort of similar.
5. Joey and Timon have both referred to themselves as the brain of the pair, even though they're probably not.
6. Frankie and Pumbaa both felt alone, and wanted others to like them.
7. They may be stupid, but they're loyal. (Timon and Pumbaa following Simba to help him win back Pride Rock, and Joey and Frankie always sticking up for their leaders and fighting for them.)
It may not be much, but I still say the resemblance is uncanny. (Hey, you know, the week after I wrote that, uncanny was a vocabulary word in language arts. Wow. ^^.;)
