| I decided to add a brief description of how six letter word got started. The whole idea of a band started in late 2002 when justin had the idea of getting a bass and told joey about it joey had the name six letter word picked out the name long before justin even had the bass it was only recently that justin thought off SLW being Santos Lock Wells it wasnt intentional but cool all the same, anyway back to the story, Justin came around to joeys the day after he bought it to jam,it was a pretty dismal effort because justin knew how to play about 2 things and joey didn't know either of them so they played together for like 15 minutes then just gave up and chilled together with greg. There was no band as such untill about 2 or 3 months into 2003 when they all got their act together and went round to joeys garage and played some covers it was about 3 weeks later that they played at RED for the first time,They really sucked but it helped them to get an idea of where they were at. Things pretty much just went from there played a couple more times at youth played in a competition and at a party and recored a demo,which if you can find some tracks from in the downloads section just push the back button on your browswer then click downloads....dont forget to sign the guestbook.
