$1 USB LED Light
Using the instructions below, you can make your own cheap USB LED light to use with your computer or laptop!
Materials:
1 x USB Cable
1 x 5V LED
1 x Solering Iron or Hot Glue Gun
1 x Metal Coat Hanger
Lots of Tape

Procedure:
Take the USB cable, and cut it so that the metal parts of the wires are exposed. There should be a red and a black cable, and two others of miscellaneous colors. Cut these other two off.
Now, plug the USB cable in with the red and black leads showing, don't worry it won't shock you or anything. Now take your LED and touch both it's leads to separate wires. If it lights up, remember which lead goes where. If it doesn't light up, switch the leads.
Now, wrap the bare ends of the wires around the appropriate lead. It should be on pretty firmly. Now, you can solder/hot glue the LED perminantly on to the wire, I would recommend soldering, though hot glue works too. Plug it in. If it lights up, success! If it doesn't then recheck you connections.
Now take your coat hanger, and set it next to your complete USB/LED cable. I recommend prebending it to the angle you'd like. Now, align the USB cable along the coat hanger, and, using some kind of tape (I used clear duct tape) attach the two together. You now have a fully functional self angling USB/LED light!
