Below you will find the steps that you must complete for this project.

Step 1

Get with your group members and decide how the parts of the vehicle you researched would fit into an actual automobile.

Example:The spring could represent a motor because it provides the car with its needed energy.

It is your responsibility to RECORD all the information from this step and steps 2 and 3!!

Step 2

You will continue with step 1 until the following parts of the vehicle have been used:

wheels, axle, mouse trap, body

Step 3

Together, give your vehicle a name. You will also name the parts of your vehicle that correspond to actual automible structures.

Example:The mouse trap spring could be named "The Mighty Power Plant."

It is your responsibility to record this information also.

Step 4

Each day that your group works together, it will be your responsibility to keep all members on task. You will also keep a log on each individual in terms of how much participation they were involved in.

For example:Did everyone participate? Did only certain members participate? Did only a few participate and the others watch?

Step 5

You will also be responsible for creating a newsletter filled with information on your group members and the automibile parts and their functions. More on this below.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Record ALL information in a notebook for steps 1, 2, and 3 above.

2. Keep a log on each group member during each day that the group is collaborating.

3. Create a newsletter similar to the following example containing the three articles listed.

newsletter example

The newsletter with the above articles is very generic.  Have fun with this.  You can keep it generic or put your information into a story form.

See how you will be EVALUATED.
