Welcome to our silhouettes page. On this page you can view some of the many art works that we have made.
The process that we use is quite a chore. We start out with a picture that is designed to be excepted by our vectored program that is installed in our database.We then work with the vector program to contextualize the picture in a format that will be used in the cutting process of the metal. The thickness of the metal that we use is 1/8 of an inch. We can use other thicknesses like 1/4" however we prefer to use 1/8 for the simple fact that the steel gets too costly with a thicker grade and the silhouettes are harder to work with.(lots of wear and tear on the equipment).
The work that we have displayed is all 1/8 inch high tempered steel. (chances are they'll last longer than the wall or fence you put them on) |
