Endangered Species

By: Joe Sultan Champs

Endangered species, thats me, but all they want to do is lock us up and throw away the key.

With no education, no books, and no programs, nothing but hard looks from correctional officers, who think they got us shook. But in reality, they should be called warehouse officers.

Placed in a cage 24/7, because they say that Is a crook, yeah, endangered species, they say thats me. Knowing that if you allowed me a chance to grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, I would probably become the next Martin Luther King, Jr., or Malcolm X.

So you polluted and poisoned my mind with drugs and other negative things, in order to once again kill my dream.

But believe me, the dream will come true, and you think of me as the endangered species, now what will you think of me when I wake up and return back to that state of mind of my forefathers? Endangered species believe me thats surely not me!

The Mighty Sons And Daughters:

By: Joe Sultan Champs

The sons and daughters of a lost generation, eyes who have not met the hell of these smoke filled places, screaming the cries of those who lost their lives inside of these hell holes of missing relations and unseen faces of fathers and mothers, whose heart, mind, body and soul was captured by a system that never represented our Black Nation!

The sons and daughters of a lost generation, when will we take back our places and set ourselves up in spaces and leave our names on races to reveal that we graced it. We picked up the torch and placed it in the signs of time, where they thought we will never make it, but we did. So we laid it in the presence of all the many different nations. So its no doubt they must face it and understand that we struggled hard to finally find our places in a world filled with much prejudice against our black faces, from the same people that profited off our forefathers blood, sweat and tears for many years in their fields, constructing a much better environment for them to prosper and live.

The sons and daughters of a lost generation, remember your history and know that its not no mystery that we were blessed to move straight into our destiny. Now that we made it, see how wonderful it is to have the righteous life we live, we were the Chosen Ones, The Royal Sons and Daughters of a Mighty Generation!
