I just found out that Comedian George Carlin died last night Sunday June 22, 2008. I was reading the article in Yahoo News. The article is at http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080623/us_nm/carlin_dc. George Carlin is my favorite comedian. My second favorite comedian is Jeff Dunham. This really sucks. It is sad to hear that George died. George died of heart failure at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. George was 71 years old according to the article that I read.

I watch his shows on HBO all the time. I have a couple of his shows on DVD. I remember hearing people talk about when George came to Milwaukee in the 1970's and that he was arrested here for violating Milwaukee's obstinacy laws, which I think really sucks considering all the profanity that comes out of the mouths of Milwaukee Police Officers, Alderman, other elected Milwaukee Officials. When I was working at P & H Mining Equipment in 2007, I was listening to my radio at work and I remember hearing the people on the radio talking about when George was arrested in Milwaukee in the 1970's. The people on the radio said that George had a look on his face when he was arrested like "what".

George will be awarded the 11th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on November 10, 2008 in Washington, D.C.. The article is at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080618/ap_en_ce/people_george_carlin.
