I just found out today one of my friends, Del Porter passed away last week. Del Porter was a friends of my families. My Uncle Paul use to train in boxing from him when he was a kid. I remember my Uncle Paul telling me stories about when he was a kid and he would go over to Ace Boxing and Del would train him.

I just siged Del Porter's Memorial Guestbook today. Below is what I wrote.

"Del Porter was a great man as well as a boxer, although I never got the chance to train from him, my Uncel Paul use to train from Del when he was a kid. I remember the stories that my Uncle Paul use to tell me about Del. I did get the chance & honor to meet Del and some of the members of of family. Del lived a block from me in West Milwaukee and his daughter used to be my neighbore. That is how I got to meet Del. As a martial artist I know what Del thought and felt about fighting because I feel the same way. I only wish that I could have got the chance to learn and train from Del. We will miss you Del. My thoughts and preyers to Del and his family".
