Entry For Thursday, April 3, 2008, The Women That I Love

I found out last Saturday, March 29, 2008 that I am still in love with the first and only women that I ever loved. Her name is Kandis. I met her seven years ago on August 22, 2000 at my grandma's funeral. I met Kandis after the funeral when we were getting something to eat. She was talking with my cousin Amanda. I started talking to Kandis that day. I fell absolutely head over heels in love with her. The only problem was she was dating another guy. In the ending month of October 2000, I called Kandis up and asked her out on a friendship date. That was the first date that I had ever been out on. I felt so honored and privileged that my first date was with Kandis. We went out on Saturday, November 4, 2000. I remember everything that happened that day from what Kandis wore to what she ate. I bought Kandis a half dozen of yellow roses the day that we went out. Originally I wanted to take Kandis out Ice Skating at The Pettit National Ice Center and then to a movie and then to dinner but all she had time for was dinner. Since then my love for her has grown stronger. Over the years I have tried to stay in touch with her. I even got to see her graduate from high school. That was one of the happiest days of my life as was the day that we went out and more importantly the day that I met her. A week after my date with her, my aunt told me that Kandis told her that I was the first guy to ever buy her flowers. Last week was the first time that I have seen her in four years. Oh man was she so incredibly beautiful at my cousin's reception. I also found out that she is now married and has a beautiful child. I am happy for her but at the same time I am sad because I always wanted to marry her someday. Her husband is a very lucky guy to be with her.  I would give up all of my dreams for her. We are still friends.
