GWS PT-17 Stearman
November 17, 2003
This airplane
had excited me since the first time I saw it on the GWS website. I love Biplanes
and really didn't want the slow flying tiger moth, even though I had heard good
things about it. So when I saw a PT-17 in the hobby shop I decided to buy one
instead of the E-Starter I had planned on buying. I haven't had much experience
with ailerons (Just the Zero and the Mustang) and I was told that this would
make a decent aileron trainer, unlike the low-wing design of the two fighters.
