Hi, my name is Joe Ouellette and I live in Grande Cache, Alberta (Canada) with my wife, Dorene.
Previous to Alberta in 2000, we lived in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada since 1978. After a few months at our new location, I figured maybe I needed a hobby to help me adjust to this retired life. Also, to not be surrounded by my grown children, and our grandchildren on a daily basis anymore, I knew I had to keep myself busy.....so I took up painting, something I never did prior.
Soon after, I became a member of the painting club in Grande Cache, called the Palette Pals Art Club and now dedicate myself to painting.
To date, I have completed over 25 paintings (both oil and acrylic). All my paintings have been completed on double primed stretched canvas. I also managed to sell several of my paintings both privately and through a couple of local Art Shows. I am also now receiving special requests of different wildlife.
