Plot/Review:
This movie is my far best action film of 2007. Frank Miller creator of SIN CITY, does it again with an outstaning graphic novel of the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 B.C. When King Leonardis (Gerard Butler) recives of bloody message from a persian telling them Perisa is going to invade all of greece, and their next, Leonardis has no choice but to lead a spartian army of 300 soliders against well over 10,000 Persian men. The battle, took over 3 days fighting any kind of mortal or immortal, standing together as one and helped usher in the world's first democracy. In this film director, Zack Snyder DAWN OF THE DEAD, wanted to make it alot like a real bloody medieval film and does, but he places a large amount of money and work in making this film different. First of all, he places CGI effects perfectly, placing dark colour throughout the film. Secondly the music of Tyler Bates, adding in amazing electric guitar riffs in the music, and finally come on a war movie in greek mathology. the bood, the head cutting off and lets not forget the styles of freezing time and other effects
