Joe Shearer is an experienced freelance writer whose work has been featured in College Bound Teen, INtake Weekly, Trap & Field Magazine, CinWeekly, The Sagamore, and online at a variety of locales including moviepoopshoot.com and indianapoliseye.com.

Joes movie reviews are featured in INtake Magazine weekly, as well as a variety of other projects. His specialty is in the entertainment field, especially film and television.

Aside from being an experienced journalist, he can produce professional-grade copy for any corporate or commercial project, from brochures and flyers to business cards and stationery.

His editing services are also employed weekly by INtake Magazine, and monthly for Trap & Field Magazine.

Joe is also a published photographer, and can most often produce high-quality photos to accompany his stories.

His love of cinema has become a borderline obsession that he inherited from his father. In 1989, the two of them watched 16 movies in three days, starting with a screening of "Batman" on its opening night. In addition to seeing at least one new release weekly, and becoming a regular at the local Blockbuster, he selects from his personal collection of over 300 DVDs and videos every evening to watch.

Influences on his work include authors Ray Bradbury and Stephen King and film critics Roger Ebert and Stephen Hunter.

Joe was married in 2000 and he and wife Crystal are expecting their first child, Riley Joseph, in January 2005. He is also an animal lover, with three dogs and a cat.
