Pro Wrestling R6GE - "RampageTV" on The Fight Network
5/29/09
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Attendance: 845
The show starts off with wide shots of the R6GE six sided ring, and then out comes Chris Jericho with a mic in hand, "Rock You" by Helix playing as he makes his way down to the ring. Jericho does a good deal of complaining about Colt Cabana and his distracting girations and complete lack of anything resembling taste or style. He vows the beating he received will be very lonely, just like Cabana at night when he's crying into his pillow about his pathetic life, because it will never... EVER... happen again. "Copa Cabana" hits the speakers and "Classic" Colt Cabana makes his way out to the ring to resounding cheers and chants from the audience as he gets them fired up a little bit, but cuts to the chase. Colt says that Jericho is just a cry baby mama's boy who likes cheap sluts and even cheaper haircuts. He says that he never sleeps alone, but never sleeps at home, because he's a sex panther on the prowl, but as he proved last week, he's got the fangs to back up the bravado. If Jericho wants to go another round, he'd be happy to knock him right back into whatever drag bar he came from...

"The Loose Cannon" Nick Dinsmore defeats Original Sinn by way of submission.
This was another wild brawl to start off RampageTV the right way. We saw various objects get put to use, including golf clubs, a toaster oven, and a screwdriver, but the most effective seemed to be the toilet seat, which Dinsmore used in a camel clutch style to choke out Sinn and make him tap to get the victory.

"The Revolution Man" Matt Hardy defeated Ricky Banderas by way of pinfall.
The leader of the M'Fn Revolution came out with a full head of steam and rocked Banderas early on with hard punches and even a Shotei palm strike. Banderas managed to take control for a little while, using a trashcan to turn the tide and then proceeded to assault Matt's forehead to cause some bleeding. Banderas was looking to drive Matt through a table at one point, but Matt turned it around, along with the match, and nailed a Flying Legdrop off the apron, driving Banderas through the table, but only got a two count. Banderas managed to hit the Ticket to Hell (Running, Jumping Complete Shot), but Hardy managed to kick out of that to the shock and thrill of the audience. Hardy hit a modified version of the Twist of Fate using an unfolded chair to get the victory.

"The Hardcore Icon" Justin Credible, Jack Evans, and "Straight Edge Vigilante" Josh Prohibition defeat Frankie Kazarian, Cody Deaner, and "The Rising Son" Chris Sabin by way of pinfall.
This match started out well enough, competitively, with Prohibition and Sabin starting things off with some crisp, stiff wrestling that saw both men trading holds, armdrags, kicks, and chops. Once Credible and Kazarian finally got in together, though, that's when all hell broke loose. Kazarian is upset over the after match attack from Credible at Origins and comes at him with everything he has, causing Credible to go to the outside and try to catch a breather and regroup. Bad idea, as Deaner comes down on him with a double ax handle and this turns into pure chaos. Evans hits an amazing Sasuke Special that takes out Deaner on the floor, which was the highspot of the match. Credible ends up laying out Kazarian once again with the Singapore cane while the ref's back is turned, taking him out of the match long enough for him to nail a superkick to Deaner that sends him into a Prohibition German suplex, which gets their team the pinfall! The audience boos, as the dispicable Credible, Evans, and Prohibition make their way out like bandits.

"The Darkness" Devon Storm defeats "The Show Stealer" Michael Shane by way of submission.
This match saw Shane really trying to give it his all, not wanting to give up as Storm laid on a heavy, methodical offensive that focused on his neck and knees. Shane managed to get a couple of near two counts after a blazing Superkick and a sharp Lungblower, but Storm just kept the pressure on. Shane managed to kick out of the Darkness Falls (Flying DDT), but missed a crucial Showstopper Elbowdrop that lead to Devon Storm nailing the Dark Embrace (Tornado DDT into Guillitine Choke) and hanging on to make him tap out and get the win.

Jay Briscoe defeat Low Ki by way out pinfall.
This was the match of the night, bar none. Briscoe pissed Low Ki off right from the start, spitting chew right on his chest and telling him to "MAN UP!" That lead to Ki unleashing a flurry of strikes the likes of which Canada has probably never seen. Chops, fists, knees, kicks, all coming at about 60 MPH. Briscoe just had to block what he could, but he was clearly taken aback. Briscoe managed to nail a Half Nelson Suplex on a reversal that took things the other direction. Briscoe made a critical mistake, however, attempting an Asai moonsault on the outside that saw him get caught on the guardrail, allowing Low Ki to come off the apron with a brutal Double Stomp to the back of this head, sending him down hard to the concrete. The end of the match came when Low Ki attempted to nail the Ki Krusher, but Briscoe slipped off and nailed a Dragon Suplex, which he released and turned, rolling Low Ki right into the Country Fried Driver (Chickenwing Piledriver) for the impressive pinfall win! He goes strong into the semi-finals of the International title tournament.

"Classic" Colt Cabana & "Death Proof" Paul London defeat Randy Orton & Chris Jericho by way of pinfall.
Cabana and London brought the noise, and the fans loved every second of it. Orton and Jericho played wonderful heels, by comparison, really working the audience as they worked over Cabana and London strategically, but Cabana and London showed a lot of reserve and wouldn't let themselves be held down for too long. Cabana really had the fans going as he was throwing jabs that stunned both Orton and Jericho, following up with a big clothesline and then a double handspring elbow! London managed to nail a standing Shooting Star Press on Jericho, then both Cabana and London pinned him to get the victory! Jericho was simply livid, complaining that it's cheating for two guys to pin at once, but the ref wasn't hearing it. Cabana and London walk away with smiles ear to ear.
