Love At Last

This is set 4 years after series 7.

Monica and Chandler live in Monicas appartment. Monica is pregnant and has converted the spare room into a nursery. She now owns her own restaurant just like she always wanted.

Rachel lives with Ross in his appartment. It's still a will they/ wont they type situation with neither one wanting to make the first move.

Phoebe still lives alone in her appartment, pursuing her career as a masseur. She is single, and isn't actively looking for a boyf.

Joey lives alone too in his appartment. He has a string of girls over, but nothing serious. He wishes he could find someone to settle down with.

Phoebe's making breakfast, and getting ready for work when the phone rings. She isnt expecting a call, and answers the phone cautiously expecting a salesman.

"Phoebe?"
"Yes"
"Its David."
"David? Wow. Are you still in Minsk?"
"Yeah. Listen Phoebs, I shouldn't have left you. I really miss you."
"So are you coming back?"
"No, I can't. I want you to come here and live with me."
"David, I can't leave everyone!"
"Why Phoebs? You can call, write. You're still single aren't you? We can make a go of this."
"I.....I have to think David. Call me in a few days."

Next Day:
Monicas Appartment:

Phoebe knocks on the door, then walks in. All the other friends are sat on the couch.
"I have an announcement"
"Huh?" asks Chandler
"I'm moving to Minsk to live with David."
"What?" Joey looks really upset.
"He called me, and I agreed to move. I'll miss you guys."
She turned and left. The five friends were silent.

Later that night, Joey imagined what life would be like without Phoebe. Everytime he did, he cried. He realised just how much he loved her, and raced over to her appartment to see her before she left.

"Phoebe, please dont go."
"I have to Joey. It's my last chance."
"Stay here. Please. I'll miss you."
"It's not enough Joey" she looked at him. He stepped forward and kissed her.
"Is that enough?"he asked.
"More than enough."
