Oh my...this was a concert!!! This was sooo amazing! I not only met my friend Angie for the first time but it was my first concert! So here's the story...

It's finally January 4th! I get up as usual, and I run over and give my mom this huge hug and I say "Mom, tonight I'm gonna see my boyz!" I was so excited! I didn't know what to do with myself. So we get ready and get into the car. We stopped at George's to pick him and his wife and his kids to come. George is the coolest. He's driving us there. Then we begin that loooong drive to Pittsburg. (Well, it seemed long.) We were meeting Angie at this restaurant called Chille's. By now I am a nervous wreck. Finally, we get to Chille's. I go inside and look around for Angie but we were early. So, I'm marching back and forth waiting and I just can't stand it! I tell my mom I'm going outside for some air. I walk out and I'm thinking..."Wouldn't it be funny if I ran into Angie around the corner?"...and I turn that corner and there she is in this huge PINK hat! I scream "ANGIE!?" She goes "Em!" And we hug! You should have seen us. We were like long lost sisters.

So we go inside and we all introduce ourselves. Angie met George and my mom, and I met her mom and her two friends Jamie and Lindsey. We were sooo excited! Then we sat down to eat, but I must say we talked more than anything else! We had some more time to kill so we went through some pictures and Angie gave me the cutest thing...she made me a Rag Doll of Steven! It was so sweet! Looked just like him, lips and all! And I pulled out this PUMP poster for her. She loved it. Now we both have the same one in our rooms. Well, by the time we finished all of that it was time to go. We said our fair-wells and headed off to the show. Too bad we couldn't sit together, but that's for next time. A friend of Angie's, Dee, her husband was going to help us get to the show so he came with us in the car. Then...the trouble starts.

We hit traffic! Oh NO! I was scared out of my mind. Traffic! We must have sat in it for an hour! The concert started at 7:30 but Aerosmith didn't come on until about 8:30....and we still hadn't moved and it was 8:00. I am about ready to jump out of the car and run to the Arena! But my hero George pulls this wonderful move and gets us out! YES! But that was only the first of the problems...then we couldn't find a parking space! Oh GOD! What next! But we found one.

It was now 8:30. My heart is racing. I grabbed my mom's arm and we run as fast as we could to the arena. We get inside and no more than a few minutes later...I hear the Asian music start and the crowd roar up. I had no idea where my seats were and at this point I didn't care! My emotions went through hell to get here! So I ran into the nearest entrance and the curtain fell....

....Breathe.....just breathe...

There they were. My angels, my idols...right before my eyes! Steven, Joe, Tom, Joey and Brad! Sooo close! I got so weak in the knees and my heart was of course racing! I made it! It was beautiful. My mom takes my hand to our seats but I never took my eyes off of Steven. Man can he move! He had on this long white trenchcoat...sunglasses, black shirt and black pants with gold sparkles on them! "Oh baby!" What more could I have asked for? I was basically jumping up and down for 2 hours screaming every lyric to every song! George says to me..."Em you better sit down, you have a lot of concert to go yet." And I said in reply.."George I just can't! I'm sooo happy!" As soon as I got home that night...or should I say that morning...I wrote this huge 15 page journal entry describing it in detail! Oh my! What can I say...I love Aerosmith!
