I was going to an Aerosmith concert on March 14, and it was about March 11. I was SO excited about this concert. I was wearing my t-shirt from the 1999 concert here, and I had on shorts, but I kept telling Mena I wasn't going to wear shorts to the concert. I went to my closet and put on my tennis shoes so I could dance at the concert. I turn on the radio and Aerosmith was on almost every channel! You knew a concert was coming up. Mena and I were in the backseat of my mom's car, like we were coming home from the Hickory Ridge Mall. Mom made a wrong turn and we headed down a dead end street, it was a cove she was going to turn around in. Steven and Joe were in their flashy concert clothes out in the middle of the street playing catch. Joe had his long hair and Steven was wearing his pink silk suit and pinkish clear sunglasses. As mom turns down the street, I freak out and wave through the window, trying to roll it down. Steven just starts waving away, and I get the window down a bit. I shove the top of my shirt through so they can see it's the wings logo! I beg Mom to stop, and she makes a sharp U-turn RIGHT in front of Steven. I stumble out of the backseat and he's right there! I give him a huge hug and he holds me really tight, like he knew me and was waiting for me to arrive. I kept saying "Oh my GOD! I love you! I love your music!" and he kept saying "I know" and rubbing my back cuz it sounded like I was about to cry. Suddenly I pulled away and said "I gotta get my picture with you!" He says "Wait, Teresa's not here!" and runs off towards a house, where 3 girls and two boys are standing on the sidewalk. While Steven was inside, I started walking with Joe, we were headed towards the house's front yard. I told him I was going to hug him when we got our picture taken, and I was making sure that it was ok with him so he wouldn't get all weird when I touched him. I was smiling at the kids while I waited, trying to get on their good side. Then I'm walking across the cove with a paper Kinko's bag and I keep saying "I've GOT to take that picture!" Mena and I walk into Kinko's and look into the bag, and there's my picture with Steven, and me with Joe. We make copies of them onto photograph paper. |
