Hiking Homepage
The views at the top were almost unreal.  At an elevation of 9215, they seemed slightly fake.  You could see the Mule, Whetstone, and Dragoon Mountains in the distance, then Miller Peak and into Mexico.  In this picture I took of my handsome husband, you can also see Mt. Graham far in the background. :)  Which is also on our trails to travel list.
Sierra Vista from the top of Carr seemed bigger than you would think it was.  Everything looked so small, you could really see the distance between structures on Ft. Huachuca and Sierra Vista.  You also could see how big some of the houses really are in the area. We only stayed for about 15 minutes before heading down, as the wind up there became quite brutal. Leaving around 2:20 pm we started down.  It was an easy trip down and didn't take as long as it did going up.  We made
it back to the trailhead at 4 pm.  The dog crashed, we relaxed a bit, had a drink, took some pictures, then headed home for the day. It was a great hike and we had a great time.
