The ant kept on across the desert,
strong willed, and determined to traverse it.
Through times of bleak darkness and great strife
he would continue, because this was his life.

The ant trudged on, through the hot sands
where earthly kings ruled with unjust hands.
With strength and courage he would prevail,
he would never allow his strong will to fail.

The way was hard, no help was found
but to this task his heart had been bound.
No more questions were voiced by his mouth
and nothing wanted from east, west, north or south.
