Heartbeat - by Joe Clune
She's beautiful, a priceless work of art:
hair flowing like a cool, beckoning stream
and lips prettier than any ever seen.
She's a sculpture, made by God's hand itself:
body molded in a rich, curvy form
putting to shame all the statues found in Rome.
She's a vision, dancing just out of reach:
eyes sparkling like diamonds catching the sun
and laughter like carefree angels having fun.
She's a temptation, pulling me closer:
how can I resist such a charming girl
whose heartbeat seems now to fill all of the world?
