Annaghmore     3 - 09   0 - 09      Madden

Jimmy Hughes pulled off the move of the afternoon, actually finding the pitch through a maze of Orchards in the back ass of Annaghmore in the minibus. The first half was a poor half for Madden needlessly wasting possession gifting Annaghmore a goal and three points. Beavis kicked over a couple of frees sickening his marker, who due to unusual high winds scored a point in the second half. A brace of Annaghmore points at the start of the second half put Madden on the back foot straight away and 2 furthur goals killed off their challange. Shane Mc Kenna threw a left peg at the ball in the second half and managed to get the ball over the bar (high winds) He later had a goal chance which he driv over the bar. Shins Campell made a substitute appearance and began turning on the style spraying high looping ball with the outside of the right boot. Gary Leeman made numerous telling runs throughout the match, attending to injured players Johnny Woods, Philly Mallon, Decky, Ciaran Monaghan........ A match Madden should forget and get back to the way they were playing at the start of the year.
