This number was originally choreographed by Scott for a show called "Liberty Weekend" on small ice. "My dad and everyone liked it so much that I kept working on it" He performed it at a show dedicated to the memory of the skaters lost in the 1961 crash.

Scott has had good success with this program in competitions. In 1986 he performed it as his artistic program at the World Professional Competition in Landover. He received all 10s for his performance, and won, taking back his title from Robin Cousins who had beat him the year before.

He also performed this program at the 1992 Diet Coke Professional Skating Competition. His moving performance brought the audience to their feet, resulted in all 10s from the judges and brought him from dead last (after a disappointing technical program) to win the competition.
Scott skates to this program in the ABC "Magic Memories on Ice II" which can be purchased at video stores, or Video Sports Productions Or Rainbo Sports (they have lots of neat skating stuff) 1-800-752-8370
