| Summer Vacation 2002 |
| For our vacation this year, we flew to Boise, Idaho to visit Randy, Dawn, and Matti. We did siteseeing in the Boise area for several days, then we drove to Craters of the Moon National Monument. We also visited a potato museum in Blackfoot, Idaho, where we got our picture taken for the local newspaper. We did some shopping at the nearby Fort Hall Indian Reservation and then continued on to Jackson, Wyoming for the night. The next morning we toured the Grand Teton National Park, where we had wonderful views of the mountains. We made our way north to Yellowstone National Park. The first day we visited West Yellowstone, Montana, to see the Grizzly Bear and Wolf Park, and we also saw lots of wildlife and thermal activities in Yellowstone. We spent the night at Old Faithful Inn right next to the famous geyser. The following day we continued exploring Yellowstone, seeing plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery. We finished our tour of the park by exiting to the north, on the way to Livingston, Montana for Sammi's wedding. We helped Sam organize her new house and with wedding preparations. The wedding was very nice! On our return trip to Boise, we drove continously for most of the 9 hour trip, but we did take time to visit a wildlife park that featured lots of BEARS!
