The upstairs landing leads to the children's bedchamber on the right and the Lanes' chamber on the left. On the landing are a Windsor armchair from the 1770s, a pine blanket chest constructed in North Carolina in the 1780s, a Bible box, and artifacts from the Lane family graveyard.
