Claiming his first title in two years, Joel Kurtiss walked out of the November ICE PPV Retribution with the ICE World Tag Team Title in a thrilling two out of three falls match against champions, The Main Event (Derek Hardaway and Shawn Christopher). His partner, The Odinist, known for his rivalry with Kurtiss, managed to keep in sync with Joel to ensure that they walked out winners.
