another collection of Internet genealogy resources. It’s the free companion to Ancestry.com.
Avotaynu is a
publisher of Jewish genealogy materials, including a journal, books, maps and
CD-ROMs.
Excellent resources for Jewish Genealogy,
including "how to" guides, research aides, cemetery information and
databases of American and European Jews. Other databases are the Family Finder
and Shtetl Seeker, for which I have listed separate
links on my home page. An archive of the JewishGen
discussion group is another useful resource.

communities they came from. Powerful search features yield family names linked
to community names and provide contact information for genealogists researching
them. If you are researching Jewish genealogy, you should use this registry -
the results can be amazing!
