Stand Up for the Republic

Our Goal: Show the GOP That We Are Worth Supporting

Stand up for the Republic, stand up for you

Stand up for Ron Paul who gives us our due

Every great President in the past who ran

Had supporters with heart. So, here's the plan...

Attend GOP meetings even if there's a fee

Be pleasant and kind and agree to disagree

Leave your tee shirts at home on the shelf

On this day you're simply advertising yourself

When they ask what caused you to give them a hand

Say, “Ron Paul, the Republican for which We stand"

Isn’t the Republican Party the Enemy?

No.

The Republican Party is not a religion or a tattoo.

The Republican Party is a tool, a very powerful tool.

Third parties are like mallets – you can dig a mine with them, but it takes a lifetime.

The Republican Party is like dynamite – it’s the fastest way to blast through to the mother lode.

We are not “taking over” the Republican Party – we are the watchdogs who make sure that the Party serves Republican voters.

Why Should I Attend GOP Meetings?

Sometimes, they hold unannounced straw polls – we can continue to dominate these polls by showing up to all GOP events.

After gaining momentum, we will need the help of lifelong Republicans to complete Dr. Paul's victory

Many Republicans who run the Party apparatus could care less who their candidate is – they just love the Party and they recognize that Ron Paul is the only candidate bringing in young voters. They know that Ron Paul is the only one bringing in enthusiastic voters. For the most part, Ron Paul is the only one bringing in any voters at all.

But I'm embarrassed about being a Republican

A "Republican" defends the Republic (In other words, The Constitution).

That’s why I’m proud to be a Republican.

Remember, the Republican Party's only job is to serve Republicans. End of story.

How Can I Most Effectively Use the GOP Tool?

·          Only attend GOP meetings when they do NOT interfere with our most important goal: Canvassing for primaries and caucuses.

·          Dress well – business casual.

·          Do not openly advertise or promote Ron Paul – at most, wear a Ron Paul button and have slim jims for people who seem interested.

·          Allow them to become friends with you. Then, the next time someone says, “Ron Paul supporters are kooks,” a highly respected member of the community can honestly say, “You’re misinformed. I know several Ron Paul supporters and they were very helpful at the GOP bake sale.”
