The Ceremony...
Our ceremony is a two-part experience.  Because neither of us are really religious, we wanted to have a civil ceremony that we could write ourselves.  After checking in to various options, we found this to be virtually impossible.  It is because of this that we will have two ceremonies - a civil/legal ceremony and a spiritual/commitment ceremony.

We also want to stress that our wedding is a
casual affair - please dress comfortably (tuxes, suits & dresses are not necessary.)
The Civil/Legal Ceremony
We will be performing this ceremony on Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Buffalo County courthouse.  It will begin at 2:00 pm.  Maps are included with the invite.
The Spiritual/Commitment Ceremony
For the two of us, this ceremony is very important.  We are writing it ourselves and asking family members to officiate.  To us, the legal aspect of marriage is important but feel the commitment to each other with our friends and family members as witnesses is of top importance.  We hope this ceremony will convey our love and dedication to each other in a way that none of our guests will ever forget.

This ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the Buffalo County Extension Center located at 1400 East 34th Street.
