Forever

My life has been so empty for years

 No one to share with a love that is true

 I patiently waited for the time to come

To have someone to cuddle in my arms

Until you came along unexpectedly

Taking me as I am and loving me tenderly

You filled the emptiness in me

And brought out the best I could be

We shared many happy moments together

Not realizing how fast time flew

The time has come for us to part in distance

And we have no choice but to say goodbye

 We are now miles away from each other

 And everything has been so different

A day seems like a year

And my nights are cold without you by my side

I always long to see your face

Your cute little eyes that used to look deep within my soul

Your sweet smile that used to brighten up my day

And your gentle touch that used to keep me safe and warm

I long for the time to come

When the two of us will meet again

To bring back those treasured memories together

And create more sweet and lasting moments

My feelings for you will always remain

 Never will I change nor will I forget

 For a part of you has grown in me

 I love you . . . forever it will be
