False Love in a False World

Darkness and hate encompass the earth.

Dust and smoke fill the sky,

Scorching fires burn all around

No end to this tortuous life in sight.

Cries are heard all around.

Cries of pain, suffering and agony.

These bitter sounds are everywhere,

With no one that cares or stops to listen.

Constant cracks of the whip sound,

Pain and anger are felt.

But the whip doesn’t stop,

It continues to crack without ease.

Cuts and blood are formed.

More and more each day,

Pain, suffering, cheating, lying and anger.

This is what the world thrives on.

You are left open and vulnerable,

For the entire world to poison. 

No cure will you ever find,

So give up, stop looking.

The world is out to get you

So beware,

The world will hurt you and it won’t care.

You are on your own out there.

When you were born, you were innocent, you couldn’t see,

But now you are not, so don’t be deceived

People use words like trust and love,

But no meaning is found deep within.

For the love of the game is what someone used to say,

But now, the game will you no longer play.

Lies, all lies are what you will ever hear.

So don’t listen, keep on walking, and don’t look back.

What can you do you ask,

Nothing,

Just live your life through and be cautious,

Your ticket out will soon come.
