The story: the new Principal Officer at the Environment Department�s Public Relations Section is said to have been appointed only due to his wife�s intimate friendship with the Minister. His assistant is always complaining that he was cheated and therefore... gives away all his work to another clerk who only finds relief in crying. At the same office, a showy Minister�s niece knows how to use her political and seductive power well, especially with the union shop steward. |

| Along with the Maltese number, the cd is comprised of songs by American and British artists among others. NBT Records, based in Berkeley Springs, had pressed their first records in 1967 and because their registered trade mark is a train, the company released this all-train cd which will be on sale in three continents. |

| Best by Televoting and Best as per Independent Jury. In this year's edition of L-Ghanja tal-Poplu (The People's Song) transmitted on popular tv programme Xarabank, Joe Julian participated with two songs. Mario..., composed by Dominic Galea, sung by Hermann Bonaci and dedicated to late artist Mario Ellul, was voted first by Public Televoting. Qalb tal-Hadid, composed by Jason Cassar and sung by Mark Tonna was voted first by the jury. In total Mario... placed third, while Qalb tal-Hadid obtained a fourth placing. |
