Since Xoom shut down my B9 Page, I decided to put an abbreviated version here. Besides, since then, I have acquired three new robots. I finally got the elusive AHI robot (to the left). Apparently, there was a licensed Lost in Space version. I always thought, like the Masudaya YM-3, it was labled LIS, but then when licensing caught up with them, it was later changed to "Outer" space Robot. But hey, what do I know. But I got the Lost in Space box, and it says "Officially licensed." So it is a true Lost in Space Robot Collectable. But he is in great shape and soooo coool. It rounds out my B9 Collection.
These pictures are of my Trendmaster Robots. To the left, the 2 ft. RC robot. Above is the first one Trendmasters put out, the talking, moving B9, and to the left of him is his little brother.

Above is my Johnny Lighting B9 and the B9 Key Chain (Thank heavens the movie came out...all that great, NEW Robot stuff). To the right are the two Masudaya Robots I got in the 80's. The big, articulated one, and the wind up.
Okay...here's what qualifies these guys for a "Models" page (Well, actually the Masudaya was a "kit" to). Here are the Polar Lights Kits I have. In the center is the Dr. Smith and Robot kit, and they are flanked by the "Anti-Matter" robot on the left, and "Golden Boy" on the right. I also have a standard built kit and one I did as a diorama with the Robotoid.

Now I own this Toy Island RC robot strictly because it is another B9 collectable. But I'll tell you, as far as detail goes, this is one, ugly robot. I can excuse the Remco and the AHI because of the time they were produced. They were bought for kids to be played with. But this one was done in the late 90's. A time when guys like me, who never grew up, buy these things for display and want good replicas. This doesn't meet that standard. I mean...what's with the orange tic tacs in the head???
For years, I collected the Star Trek ornaments. And I am still first in line, shortly after the 4th of July, to put my order in for the latest. So imagine the thrill I felt when I heard they put out a Robot Ornament a few years ago. And then the thrill was felt all over again when they put out the SECOND ornament. These are great, because when it's not Christmas, they sit on my shelf, on display, without looking like a Christmas Ornament. But they get a place of honor on my tree every year.

Well, that's it...I do have a few other, assorted, B9 robots. I have a paper model still packed away from the move, another Johnny Lightning still on the card, and a model or two. But these are the important ones. The pride of my collection. I hope you enjoyed your trip through my world. Thanks for coming.
And here is a product of my handywork. My full size B9 which was made, basically, out of trash. And for a cost that came in under $700.00. The head is made out of bird feeder parts, the radar unit out of old records, snow sleds and gargabe cans on the body, flower pot trays for the wrists, etc. He was fun to build, he blinks and talks (my daughter never DID miss that toy). A true scratch built model.

These are my pride and joy of my collection. Three Remco Lost in Space robots, including box and original instruction sheet. The red body one I had since the late 80's which I got from a collector who was selling me Star Wars action figures at the time. The other two are recent acquisitions. And both somewhat rare pieces. I hear from a reliable source that the blue body robot with blue antenna is a scarcity. He came with the instructions. The black body robot I hear is also rare. The fact he has black arms and a green tinted bubble also adds to his collectability. He came with the box. Having these three  is a treat. They all work and look great.
