Flight 1; ILs at Hong
Cong Airport in none other than the bigest mother boeing 747-400
Note: I would advise you to download the file, this
page is included in the folder so you dont have to read this all online.
You are going to love this flight! The plane will litrally land its self in fog!
All you have to do is make sure your throlle is set to nil (press F2 with out a
joystick), other wise you will be too high. Set the flaps to 35 degrees to slow down. When
you see the runway, turn off the auto pilot and bring the nose up(pitch up) to about 5
degrees, this is called flaring and it ensures you land sofly on your back wheels, you
want to touch down at about 140 knots.
Once you have it down, its time to slow down. Use your flaps (press "/"), and
use some reverse thrust. When you slow to 50 knots use your brakes.
Flight 2; Landing
dangerously.
This flight is quite
difficult, but fun! You land a cessna on a small runway located in the mountains.
You will pretty much get the gist of things, you take control of a cessna and attempt
to land it on the runway. Make sure you bring your flaps out.
Flight 3; ILS Landing at
Los Angelels in the concord
Note: You must Have the concord for this flight.
Please if you know where it is possible to download
the concord from please email me, or use the guestbook! If you give me a link for this you
will be credited on my credits page and right here!
Its the middle of winter on a dark night. You have to land the concord at runway 7
left. Again this flight makes the most of the auto pilot and you have to do very little.
Set the nose down fully ("F8"), when the runway is about 1 minite away from
you turn the auto pilot and auto throttle off, make sure you have the engines set to idle.
Keep the nose level with the horizon and touch down at 150 knots, make sure that you
flare(i.e your nose is slightly above the horizon, by about 5 degrees), that will ensure
you land sofly on your rear wheels. When you touch down, use some reverse thrust, and when
you speed is at 50 knots use you brakes.
Flight 4; Using the
flight planner- Stanstead to cork airport.
Many users may find this flight difficult.
However, those with a basic knoledge should enjoy this. You fly a boeing from stanstead
airport to cork airport. After taxing and taking off, follow instructions given to you by
air traffic control, they will guide you to your destination.
You have to fly at 30 000 feet (flight level 300=30 000 feet by the way), you will
travel in a westerly direction, expect an instrment to fail. When landing, land at about
140 knots (if your speedometer is working), with the flaps set to about 30 degrees. If you
had your landing gear out that also might help.
