I can always find him like a beacon in the night
Orion is shinning over me showing me the way
So I can stumble through the night into the day
Through all the years I can remember
I have looked up to the skies
To search for answers, to find some meaning
For a purpose in my life
I never could find most constellations
Big or little dipper northern star
Only Orion stood out before me
And brought out the dreamer with his form

When I got the chance to lay back in the open
Far away from city lights
The star filled skies where overwhelming
And I felt swallowed, like I'd fall into the night
Maybe I grow tired of finding no answers
But the questions will not cease
Oh to find a hand that I can hold onto
And arms in which to find release

To ask for help again
And my voice is stilled with wonder
At the inspiration there
