Overcome with Hope
I've looked at this from all sides, if you know me you know thatI've worked through it like an equation, just don't ask me the steps
And from every damn perspective, no answer comes clear
So can you tell me,
Why am I overcome with hope

And I see these kids all around me, searching for identity
I see them reaching out for knowledge, I see them reaching for love
And when the answers still elude them, and they try another way
You may see this as a reason to give up on,

The older I get the younger I feel
The more I learn the less I think I know

Now that I've taken myself out of protection, from the tower to the storm
Yearnings long denied blaze by and take me captive so
