For What it's Worth

click to listen

For what it's worth you touched my life
Though at times I wish it wasn't so
Cuz now it stings where once I healed
And I'm finding it hard to tell you before you go
And I don't know how to let it show

For what it's worth you touched my soul
You led me to search for the hope I'd hidden away
To believe in the good in all though I'd been warned
It was just an illusion meant to be stripped away
But now it stands up to the light of day

For what it's worth I'll trust my faith
Though more times than I can count I've run away
But it feels so right to just say the words
And I want you to know what you mean to me anyway
Cuz it's worth more than I can say
