Roman Gladiators
Romans liked seeing people die. They thought it was fun. To them its like when we watch basketball games or foot ball games. They also believed that their gods liked gladiatorial fights, so when they went experience as well as being fun. Many Roman people went to big amphitheaters to see professional fights. The seats were free only if a rich person paid for them. If not paid for the seats would be a lot of money. And the poor people would have to sit all the way on the top.

The man in the armor fought against wild animals like bears, bulls, alligators, ostriches, lions, and tiger. They get the animals from faraway places. Romans treated the animals very bad and kept them hungry so that they would get mad and mean so that they would fight back. The Romans killed the animals but some times the animals will kill the people. But animals were get killed more then people.
