Sega be club'in (Part 2)
In this months article I will discuss Joypolis!  Upon purchasing your Joypolis passport and sliding it through the turnstile, you then enter a vaulted door to see the three floors of the facility.  You can the use the Joypolis passport as a debit card at each ride; every ride you get on is deducted from the card when you give it to the attendant.  The most impressive rides on the lower level were Speed Boarder, the first sideways roller coaster in the world, and half pipe Canyon, where you could test your snowboarding techniques.  These rides were a lot of fun and it was impressive how they were designed for this indoor facility!

Also on the lower level was an interactive bug squishing game.  Stepping up above a platform, with four TV screens implanted flat on the ground, you could use your feet to squish the 2-D bugs crawling across the ground on the screen.  Near these attractions was an entrance to the "JP Gear" gift shop, complete with Sega software and hardware, (some even Dreamcast related), Sonic snacks, and shirts, mugs or other items covered with the Segas Joypolis logo.  The other 2 floors are full of even more fun attritions you'll just have to visit to see!

Joypolis is not really an arcade but more of an in-door theme park with small fun rides and missing this attraction when you visit Japan would be crazy, so make sure you stop by!
