This is the view from our hotel window.
This where we spent most of the time, in the shade, since I was dumb and got burned the first day.
The highlight of the trip was the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza.
Note how steep those stairs are. The sunny side has a rope for you to grab, but we opted for the shady route.
Here I am at the top, staying close to the wall, like most of the sensible folks.
