FLASHBACK
Managing to open the door, Yoshi looks at the
room…
Yoshi: Fucking hell.
The scene fades
END FLASHBACK
The ragged voice yelled out, the echo bouncing
off of the walls of this very fine and spacious room. Spacious, yes, but dirty
and cockroach filled. I was correct, you do get your moneys worth in this place
[evil cackle]. Yoshi entered the room, with his jaw down to the ground. This is
still probably the best conditions of which he has had to live, and Yoshi feels
comfortable, especially considering he is left with one thousand, seven hundred
and fifty dollars spending money, but the question is, what are we going to do
with this money? First things first, get a weeks stock of food, but then what?
Clothes…maybe we’ll even have enough money for a car! Holy shizzles mo’ nizzle
snizzles. Cause you know, public transport sucks, the bus seats…they’re always
hurting your ass.
Yoshi: So what have I got? I’ve got a
place to stay…and I have money…hmm…food.
Yoshi looks over to a mini fridge and opens it.
He picks up a twinkie bar, and is just about to unwrap it when a voice shouts
out.
Voice: Don’t eat that!!!
Yoshi drops the twinkie bar and looks confused
at the man. Jet black hair with tanned skin, wearing a leather jacket and a
smirk. Leather trousers and boots, looks a whole lot different to our good
friend Yoshi, and looks like a tough guy, a motorbike d00d.
Yoshi: Wh-Who are you?
Voice: My name is Eric Lockheart. I’m
your new manager.
Yoshi: Manager? I didn’t ask for no
fucking manager. I don’t want no fucking manager. I just want to eat my
chocolate in peace.
Yoshi bends down, picks up the twinkie, unwraps
it and sticks it in his mouth, as Eric Lockheart winces.
Eric: You are aware of the fact that
eating that just cost you $25
Yoshi gags, runs to the toilet and throws up.
Eric smirks within the midst of the dirty room.
Eric: Now it’s time to talk business.
Yoshi: I don’t want to talk business.
Eric: You don’t have much of a choice.
Yoshi scowls.
Yoshi: Oh yeah? And why’s this?
Eric: Because you’re pathetic. You know
nothing of the sport, you know absolutely no wrestling moves at all, you lack
charisma, and overall you just…well…you suck.
Yoshi smirks
Yoshi: I’ve trained hard my entire life.
It hasn’t been pleasant, it hasn’t been fun. It’s been painful, hard and full of
anguish, and I’m not gonna let this chance slip away from me.
Eric throws Yoshi a card, who catches it.
Eric: Make the most of it then. Give me a
call sometime.
Eric walks away, as the
scene closes
