Flashback

They turn around and begin to walk out. I quickly got up out of the chair and sprint over in his direction. It was only then when I noticed the shiny piece of silver glistening. He thrusted his arm backward, and the silver thing connected with my face. It was sharp...it was a knife. I fell flatly back on my ass, holding on to my face as I could feel the hot searing pain on my cheek. I could feel blood running down my face, I could feel it on my hands.

End Flashback

It was sometime after my first match with Mo Money Cashman, or whatever the hell his name was, it was so long ago I can't remember. I was quite annoyed that I had lost my first ever WXWF match. Personally, I had no idea how much hype he had on him. I never expected to find it that difficult. But, you win some, you lose some, as they say. I was given a lot of trust. I was booked the following week by a man named Mike Destiny. The current LDW Champion, with the stipulation that if I won that much, I was to be given a shot as his gold. I was dead keen on getting my hands on that gold. Even though it isn't the major WXWF Gold, or any WXWF Gold for that matter, it still is god damn impressive to be holding a major piece of gold within my first few weeks in the federation.

I am/was an ambitious kid. I was always looking for some gold to strap around my waist. I liked the feel of it, to know you're superior. I was booked against Mike Destiny, as I said, and he was hyped pretty well. Coming straight on from a gold winning victory, thats gotta be tough, but it's nothing that I can't do. I, Yoshima Yawakuzi am certainly capable of great things, and I'm going to prove that, by taking him down, the only way I know how: WELL

"Care....FUL!!!! Argh!"

I was in pain. It was sore, getting stitches done. I didn't want to go into a hospital, I knew they'd ask questions, and personally, I don't know how to phrase "I'm being forced to take part in a conspiracy". Do I know whether I'm going to take part of the whole takeover thing? Probably not. Sounds a little bullshit, however I do know that they mean business. They were tough guys. I was at home at the time of this writing, with Hope Horitzui putting stitches in my face. She was then going to cover it with a band aid and everything would be all fine and dandy. The TV was on in the background, and I was on Teletext, trying to look for what match I'm going to have. I typed in 453 (which was the usual code) and the LDW page was up. I saw "Yoshima 'Yoshi' Yawakuzi vs. Mike Destiny" at the top of the page. I dropped the remote on the floor, which made Hope jump, sending a needle up my cheek. It hurt and another line was made. I held my cheek in agony, as the searing pain took its course.

Hope looked at the television and her jaw almost collapsed to the floor. She looked back at me with a smile and smugly began to continue doing the stitches, once I calmed down.

"Not bad, eh, Yosh? They obviously trust you, babe. Looks like you did good out there."

"I still lost."

The whole room went quiet. I had the feeling Hope was disappointed with me. I felt bad, but I shrugged it off.

"So what are you going to do about Lockheart? And your Father?"

"He's not my father."

"Well...okay...that guy."

"I don't know."

That was a lie. I knew exactly what I had to do. I had to go see him again.
