FLASHBACK
The look on Hope's face, so innocent, the pure worry in her eyes. Hope really cares for Yoshi. Yoshi is completely oblivious to this fact. Hope then holds her arms out for a hug, and then wraps them around the body of Yoshi. Yoshi rubs her back, softly, and we can see tears running down her eyes. Yoshi holds pushes her forward slightly and looks into her eyes, confidently. He tries to speak, but his throat hurts him. He gives up, frowns and looks away. Hope grabs his head and pulls his into hers, kissing him. Yoshi sharply draws back, and Hope turns a bright red. She stands up and walks away.
"...Sorry. I didn't know what I was thinking."
Yoshi vigorously shakes his hands, trying to get her attention, but Hope just walks straight out the door and out of sight. Yoshi slowly stops, and a tear runs down his throat, before slowly saying the words.
"..F...rote...h...ert."
Silence echoes the room, as once again, Yoshi speaks.
"F...rote..."

[Yoshi spots Jak across the ring,
beginning to get to his feet. He runs toward Jak and delivers a thunderous
spear. He quickly pulls Lightning up and hits a hurricanrana.]
Lenny: We all know what this is setting up for.
Daniel: The Yawakuzi Kick.
Lenny: Can you for once shut up and let me do the talking.
Daniel: No if I do that, then I’ll be making an entire generation of wrestling
fans idiots.
[Yoshi ascends to the top rope, waits for Jak to get to his feet and turn
around, then…the Yawakuzi Kick right into the face of Lightning. Yoshi goes for

END FLASHBACK
Wow...that was unexpected. I went into the match as the underdog. I had a thick cable choking me, sending a red mark running right around my throat. I had a lot on my mind, a lot of confusion. Girl troubles, they call it. Yet somehow I managed to get Jak Lightning, and not only dominate the majority of the match, but also come out victor. I had a weakness, and Jak Lightning played the gentlemen card. Big mistake for him. It cost him a shot at the World Title, something I bet he regrets at the moment. But, I have to give him an award for fair play, cause damn does he deserve it.
I'm in a pretty good condition. I can speak a few sentences at a time now, but after that it does tend to get a bit sore, but not as sore as I am feeling emotionally. I am hurt, but not as much as I could imagine that Hope is. She doesn't know that I like her, too. She's embarrassed, and I feel really bad. I'm gonna have to go and find her. I need to let her know how I feel.
I'm seated in the same chair, but at a different time, with my mouth wide open. It's taken me over a day, and the thought hasn't even crossed my mind about ringing her cell phone. I'm so retarded, I'm glad I have a manager to think for me. I pick up my cell phone, I go to the phone book and look through the few entries that are there, to find the one named 'Hope'. I press the green button and then the phone screen says that it is ringing. Yoshi waits for a few rings, but then on the eighth, Yoshi hangs up the phone and sighs.
"You know, I really thought that
was going to work. It's the sort of thing that usually happens in promos, you
know? But alas, God doesn't like me"
I get up from out my seat and walk to the door. The key is already in
there, and I turn it, take it out and close the apartment door. I am now in the
hallway outside of my apartment, with a door ahead of me, and the stairs leading
down to my left, with the stairs going further up to my right. It's quite a
dirty old looking apartment hallway, with the smell of urine wafting up the
nose.
"Urgh...piss."
I cover my nose with my jacket and start walking down the stairs to my left. On my way downwards, a parent with a young toddler makes her way upstairs. The kid looks at me and seems transfixed, with his eyes never leaving mine. I nod and the kid smiles, he stays still, but the parent doesn't, and ends up pulling the kid in the stride, ending up banging the kids head against the stone steps. I quickly avert my gaze and pick up pace, but not stopping and continuing to walking down. I eventually make my way into the main foyer. Which is just like every other room, the whole thing lined with concrete, and a big desk. I leave through the main doors, and walk into the car park, where I find my car and climb in. I start the ignition and drive off.
About an hour later I park inside of the office of Hope. I walk in and open the door, hoping that maybe there will give me an idea of where she will be. I look at her desk and pick up a piece of paper. It reads:
Yoshi,
I will make one last attempt. I love you. But I can't express my feelings for you in a letter. However, I do not wish to feel the embarrassment, so if you do not feel for me, then please do not arrive at the place. I will be at my apartment, which is at 23 Mason Street. I think you know where that is. Meet me there.
Hope.
I grab the piece of paper, neatly fold it and stick it on my pocket. I leave the room and close the door, before entering my car yet again. I get in the car, but before starting the ignition, I sit there and breathe heavily. "This is it." I think "This is when I tell her my feelings for her. Jeez, God, please wish me luck". I then drive off, as the scene closes.
