You don't know what happened.
Do you?

Well I think it's time to show you what happened.

---

When was the last time you saw from me? In the small clothes shop in Canada. That's where it all happened. I lied a little, when I said that I was not distraught over Eric Lockheart leaving me, because well, to put it bluntly, I was. I had my clothes in my hand, with it slightly covering my eyes, slightly ruining my vision on the left hand side of me. I stepped out on to the street, with my clothes in my hand, and then looked both left and right. I don't know why I bothered looking to my left, for reasons of which you'll learn, soon.

As I stepped out on to the road, I heard some shout something, but I can't quite remember hearing what they had said. I wish I did. All of a sudden, I felt a pain in my side, and it was coming at such a pressure that it threw me ahead, and I remember landing on a car, before passing out.

I stand today, a new man. Sure, this may have ruined my wrestling abilities, but I was already better than most of them. I stand today, discharged from Kingston hospital, back in Ontario, Canada. Fortunately, I remember where I live, so taking a plane back to Boston, to see whether I can continue with the NLR on my journey to fame and glory.

If they reject, I don't know what I can do. I can't return to Tokyo. I'll be ridiculed and hated there, I'll be known as 'the person who didn't make it'. Perhaps I can join them Japanese federations, but I don't think that they are up to par with the NLR. I suppose I'll have to live a normal life, and be known as one of them 'one hit wonders', and if I'm lucky, be another Gareth Gates. I really don't think that can happen.

...I don't think I can live with that...
